I *always* have a smile on, and I'm always cheerful to the customer, even if I'm snarky and sarcastic to my co-workers. However, this guy the other day fully deserved a pie in the face.<br /><br />SG - Starbucks Grrl<br />CB - Co-barista<br />DB - Douchebag<br />Setting: on DT<br /><br />SG: ::smile:: Good afternoon, welcome to Starbucks! My name is SG, what can I get started for you today?<br />DB: Yeah, I need a grande $!@fee latte and a grande white mocha.<br />SG: Ok, I have a grande white mocha, and what did you say your first drink was, sir?<br />DB: A grande -offee latte!<br />SG: (thinking that the guy is asking for a *coffee* latte) Okaaayy, actually our lattes are made of espresso and milk, with the espresso being the coffee. So, do you want like a misto, which is--<br />DB: NOT COFFEE, -OFFEE! -OFFEE!!!!! <span style="font-size:180%;">-OFFEE!!!!</span><br />SG: (dumbfounded)<br />CB: He wants Toffee Nut<br />SG: OH, you want a toffee <span style="font-style: italic;">nut</span> latte?<br />DB: YES!!!<br />SG: Okay, so we've got a grande <span style="font-style: italic;">toffee nut</span> latte and a grande white mocha, we'll have your total at the window.<br /><br />And I proceed into the back to cry because I just got screamed at and I was in SO much pain from being sick.<br /><br />Don't you love it when customers treat you like you're not worth anything? ::smile::<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4891974569317861807-7902934124525755284?l=sbuxgrrl.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>An Idealistnoreply@blogger.com0
